Lamoni Municipal Utility

Lamoni Municipal Utilities' water system is comprised of three reservoirs:  

Home Pond constructed in 1934 and is located on the Northwest edge of town, Lake LaShane built in 1957 located 2 miles west of town, and North Woods constructed in 1993 located 2.5 miles north of town.  Home Pond is located at the water treatment plant.  The LMU water system has the capacity to deliver 500,000 gallons per day. Current average consumption is 260,000 gallons per day.
