Job Openings:   ELECTRICAL LINEMAN/APPRENTICE AND WATER/WASTEWATER OPERATOR

Principle Duties: The following duties are normal for this position.  These are to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive.  Other duties may be required and assigned.

Performs construction and maintenance of overhead and underground electric distribution system. Also perform routine maintenance on water/wastewater facilities, take daily tests to ensure the quality and proper treatment of the domestic water, and collect routine samples as required by state and federal regulatory agencies as required.

Minimum Training and Experience Required to Perform Essential Functions:

Graduation from a standard high school or GED equivalent. Able to obtain a valid commercial driver’s license.

Physical Requirements: Ability and dexterity to use tools and equipment for electric line work in a safe and efficient manner around “hot” lines. Ability to climb in and out of trenches and lift, up to 100 pounds.

Environmental Adaptability: Ability to perform in severe weather conditions for extended periods of time.

The wage will be based on training, education, and work experience.
